MenoEase Yoga™ is a tailor-made yoga practice specifically designed for relief of peri-post menopause symptoms. We practice therapeutic yoga poses, breathing techniques, meditation, as well as guidance on nutrition and self-care.

All classes are conducted twice a week via zoom/meet or in person (depending on client’s location).

For those who prefer to practice in the privacy of their own home, we offer 1:1 private sessions that enable you to speak confidentially about your symptoms and experiences and receive personalized attention to your needs.

Our MenoEase Yoga™ classes can assist with many of the symptoms associated with menstrual cycle and peri-post menopause by helping to stimulate the sympathetic nervous system of calm and rest. Yoga postures focus on squeezing, stretching and massaging the endocrine glands, especially the ovaries, adrenals, thyroid and pituitary, keeping them healthy and nourished. It can help manage the physical and psychological symptoms that many women experience during the transition from menarche to menopause.

Yoga helps to prevent falls and fractures by developing posture, balance (proprioception), inner sensory awareness (interception) and muscle tone. It can also improve long-term physical and mental health in post menopause when the depletion of oestrogen can lead to osteopenia and osteoporosis (brittle bones), sarcopenia (muscles loss), and the risk of cardiovascular disease. As women are now living longer, yoga can help retain muscle flexibility, general mobility and balance which we need to avoid potentially dangerous falls.
