You may be here because you have been struggling or suffering in some way with chronic menstrual pain like PMS, PMDD, irregular bleed, etc. and/or severe peri-post menopausal symptoms such as fatigue, inflammation of joints, generalized burnout, and brain fog…just to list a few!
I totally get it because I have been there myself.
For years I suffered with debilitating pain which turned out to be undiagnosed Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), which was medically misinterpreted as depression. Along the way, other areas of my life - my work, relationships, my mental health - all got affected. As I got older in my perimenopause phase, it was extreme fatigue, insomnia, tinnitus, and digestive problems. Wrangling family life and work demands while going through the hormonal turbulence, made me realize how just challenging being a woman can be.
Tuning inwards into the wisdom of my menstrual cycle brought me to a stronger place within myself. It brought me to the point where my cycle is now actually what holds my life in balance. Hence, this is what I teach other women, and I am delighted to share it with you too.
I combine my multiyear nursing experience and my clinical research background with the integrative approach, to help ALL WOMEN navigate their own menstrual cycle for an easy cyclical transition from pain to peace in all seasons of life.
How Did We Get Here?
I remember one sleepless night in my early 40s, when I thought, “How do women handle years of this menopause craziness? There has to be a different way!” It was at 2 a.m. when I made a promise to myself to find that better way.
My lack of knowledge meant my perimenopause symptoms hit me hard, and this made me realize just how little I knew about this major transitional time of my life. I had heard of the physical symptoms, they are well documented - hot flushes, weight gain, and lack of libido, but it was the mental and cognitive symptoms that took me by surprise. Raising awareness and talking openly about how I am feeling is playing a huge part in helping me to adapt to the changes I am experiencing. By opening up this conversation I am helping ALL WOMEN - young and old.
My mother and my grandmother’s generations did not speak much about menstrual and menopausal challenges. They suffered in silence, and that reflects in our lack of knowledge and the current social stigma associated with these natural transitions of life.
If we can embrace our cyclical living and normalize this unavoidable and natural change in our lives, we can make these experiences more positive not only for us but for generations of women to come. I am the founder of The Wellness Box Pty Ltd ~ wellness company that I founded in 2017, which currently has two sub-divisions:
All Women Wellness - a coaching and educational division for all women suffering with menstrual and menopausal challenges.
YAYA: Yoga As You Are - an online yoga studio that intersects mind-body-spirit connection through therapeutic yoga.
I am a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of diverse industry experience.
I am a 200Hrs Yoga Practitioner registered with the Yoga Alliance.
I am a Holistic Menstrual & Menopausal Health Educator.
I am a certified Life Coach & NLP Practitioner.
I am a member of SA Menopause Society
I am a Functional Medicine Enthusiast.

Though I still make mistakes sometimes, which I constantly learn from.
Every single day, I dedicate my mornings to myself to “do the work” on myself so I can be a better version of myself for myself.
